Ada Yeung | Aspire
Ada has always had a passion for social justice and helping those from underprivileged backgrounds. She started her career in the Non-for-Profit sector as a community worker and then as a mentor coordinator. Ada then moved to Learning & Development at a medium sized corporate. After realising working in the corporate world was not the best fit for her, Ada came to UNSW to continue her career in Learning & Development, coordinating a number of staff development and leadership programs.
Ada loves working at UNSW but missed the satisfaction associated in working with students from low socio-economic areas. She found the best of both worlds when she joined ASPIRE. Currently, Ada is the Mentor Coordinator for an online mentoring program called Click-on Mentoring. The program aims to develop an awareness of post-school pathways and career options for high school students through online discussions with UNSW student mentors.
Outside of work, Ada enjoys spending time with family and friends over a nice meal. She also loves animals and volunteers at an animal shelter where she gets to care for and play with very cute dogs and cats.
